Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 has leaked online and it shows the new Weapons, map and several different Battle Pass characters looking down on it. It also shows one character riding a motorcycle, confirming rumors that motor-bikes were coming to the game. It looks like a fun little dirt bike, so that’s exciting. The characters here are both original and new. In the cinematic trailer we glimpsed some of these, as well as the Hulk who might be the ‘secret’ skin this season.
Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons
Fortnite Chapter 4 is here, and in its inaugural season, a new slate of weapons has arrived for you to scavenge and, with a bit of luck, carry to victory. While some items in this season’s loot pool return from past seasons and chapters, each new chapter of Fortnite has also introduced wholly new items and guns never before seen. Chapter 4 continues that tradition. Here’s a breakdown of all new Fortnite guns and items in Chapter 4 Season 1, plus a look at what else has been vaulted or unvaulted.
Fortnite adds a ton of new weapons to the game with the launch of Chapter 4. Here you’ll find images and details for all of them, but first let’s get you familiar with their names.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Official Launch Gameplay Trailer
The Witcher’s Geralt, Doom Slayer Coming to Fortnite Chapter 4
in cinematic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, shared at the end of an extremely disappointing live event, has confirmed that The Witcher’s Geralt and DOOM’s Doom Slayer (also known as Doomguy) will be added as new skins. It’s highly likely these will be part of the Battle Pass, but the game is offline until Sunday, 4th December, so we’ll need to await further confirmation.
Other characters glimpsed in the video include YouTuber Mr Beast and The Incredible Hulk – riding a motorcycle, no less! There also appears to be content from My Hero Academia – or a Pickaxe at the very least.
Brand-new weapons making their debut to Fortnite include:
- Ex-Caliber Rifle
- Thunder Shotgun
- Maven Auto Shotgun
- Red-Eye Assault Rifle
- Twin Mag SMG
- Tactical Pistol
The Ex-Caliber Rifle fires an explosive blade, which is a bit like the Boom Sniper but decidedly pointier. The two shotguns should appeal to different playstyles. The Thunder version operates like a pumpy and fires two rounds at a time, while the Maven Auto variant is faster-firing for players who like their shotties with a scary fire rate.
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle includes a red dot sight for easier target acquisitions–let’s be honest, headshots, and the Twin Mag SMG comes with a great fire rate and a massive clip size. I guess speed is the name of the game this season as even the Tactical Pistol is automatic and quick to empty, so aim true.
Fortnite Leaks Chapter 4 Witcher and Doom Skins
Each season of Fortnite features a Battle Pass packed full of new skins and styles. These Battle Passes typically include at least one licensed reward, often for completing Tier 100 of the Battle Pass. For example, Chapter 3 Season 4 of Fortnite featured Spider-Gwen from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as its Tier 100 reward. The season before that, Darth Vader of the Star Wars films was Tier 100. With Chapter 4 starting Fortnite over with a new map, Epic Games was always going to go big with the new Battle Pass.
A promo image for Chapter 4’s Battle Pass has been discovered by leakers featuring the main character skins Fortnite players will be able to acquire. The two licensed skins, easily recognizable among the group, are Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher games and Doomguy from Id Software’s modern Doom series. Geralt looks like he’s based on The Witcher 3 version of the character, complete with silver and steel swords, crossbow, and Kaer Morhen armor. Doomguy, meanwhile, is wielding the Crucible sword from Doom Eternal.
It should be noted that both of these skins are also confirmed for Fortnite in the concluding cinematic to Chapter 3 Season 4. Both can be seen being pulled through Fortnite’s multiverse by the Zero Point toward the battle royale’s reconstructed map. The leaks confirm that both are skins planned to be included in Chapter 4’s Battle Pass.
Geralt and Doomguy aren’t the only licensed characters teased for Chapter 4, either. Hulk riding a motorcycle is shown in the same cinematic, as is a pickaxe bearing a resemblance to My Hero Academia’s All Might. There’s also a skin for influencer and burger guy MrBeast teased. These are not Battle Pass inclusions, though, and it’s unclear how they’ll be released or when.
Fortnite Chapter 4 with Geralt, Hulk and Doomslayer
The next era of Fortnite will welcome characters such as The Witcher’s Geralt, Doomslayer and The Hulk, plus new gameplay mechanics such as the addition of motorbikes to Epic’s hugely-popular battle royale.
Last night, Fortnite ditched its third map with shocking speed, as the game’s ever-changing Island was quickly consumed by the invading Chrome in a brief cutscene. Then followed an extended 30-minute event mode where players were tasked with reforging the Island anew, using a mix of familiar and fresh locales that look set to appear in Chapter 4.
The end of the event featured another cutscene – the one embedded here just above – where the heroic Paradigm (voiced by Brie Larson) succeeds in her mission to fuse the new Island together from the fragments players have corralled, as the game’s Zero Point macguffin lassoos chunks of landscape together.
‘Fortnite’ New Chapter 4 Map Leaks Online
The new map coming to Fortnite with the launch of Chapter 4 has leaked online.
Fortnite dataminer HYPEX leaked the map Saturday ahead of today’s big live-event.
The new map looks pretty cool, but it’s hard to know just from the one leaked screenshot, which is from the cinematic trailer (apparently) rather than an actual shot of the in-game map. That means we don’t have Points Of Interest yet.
Some observations:
- a snow biome with high, craggy mountain peaks
- below that, the island is split into what appears to be an autumn biome and a summer biome, both dotted with trees and fields.
- Most of the water in the map is on the outside of the island, pouring off into space below. There appear to be a couple small lakes but that’s about it.
- This is part of a cinematic and it appears that either bits are being pulled off the map into space or perhaps the reverse, and this is coming together with other areas being sucked toward the map, meaning it’s possible that some of the water will be filled in with new bits of map overtime.
