THE WARZONE GODZILLA VS. KING KONG update in Call of duty is here, and while the event itself has been mostly lackluster, the Operator skins released alongside it are some of the coolest the game has ever received. However, one in particular, the Mechagodzilla skin, has eluded players since the event began, as it isn’t appearing within the in-game store—at least, not as intended. An expensive workaround is available, and while it does allow you to get your hands on the skin, we highly recommend waiting for this to be fixed. Here’s what you need to know about the Warzone Mechagodzilla skin during the Operation Monarch event.
How to Get the Mechagodzilla Skin Bundle in COD Warzone
As it is a premium skin bundle, you can get the Mechagodzilla Skin bundle for 2400 COD points. For the COD points, you can purchase 2400 COD points for $20. If you wish to buy the operator skin bundles for Kong and Godzilla, they are also available for 2400 COD points. That’s the only way to get these humongous beasts. Mentioned below are the items included with the Mechagodzilla skin bundle:
- Legendary Mechagodzilla Operator Skin
- Machine Learning MVP Highlight
- Rival protocol Highlight (Vanguard exclusive)
- Legendary Cybernetic Destroyer Assault Rifle
- Legendary Neural Uplink SMG
- Nanometal Tail Blade Melee weapon
- Network Uptime Watch
- Mechagodzilla Head Charm
- Evolving Together Emblem
But some players have been experiencing an issue when buying the Mechagodzilla skin bundle. While players can buy the old King Kong and an enormous Godzilla, players are unable to get the Mechagodzilla. Although this could be a bug, some players confirmed that they could buy Mechagodzilla after buying the other two skin bundles. That would make a sum amount of $60 to get the Mechagodzilla.
As it sounds much disappointing, an explanation could be that the skin bundle is not out yet. One of the Reddit users, Shteeve09 claimed that the Mechagodzilla bundle is out to release on May 14th. For a workaround, you can buy the other two bundles for an early purchase.
We suggest having a bit of patience as this limited-time event lasts till May 25. Or as an alternative, you can buy the other two skin bundles to purchase the Mechagodzilla skin bundle.

How to buy Mechagodzilla in Warzone
At the time of writing, only the Kong and Godzilla Tracer Packs are available for individual purchase through the Store tab. However, it’s likely that the Warzone Mechagodzilla pack will go live in the near future, so if that’s all that you’re interested in buying then you should hold fire for a little while longer. If you absolutely have to have it right now, there is a method for how to get Mechagodzilla in Warzone, though it will end up being pretty expensive.
If you head to the Operation Monarch tab instead, you’ll see an offer to “Buy Multiple Bundles, Earn Rewards” you can view. If you follow that prompt you can buy the Godzilla pack, which will then take you to the screen for the Kong pack, and if you purchase that too then the elusive option will appear to buy Mechagodzilla in Warzone. Bear in mind that each of these packs costs 2,400 COD Points, meaning you’ll need to drop the equivalent of around $60 / £50 to purchase all three which is a significant investment for cosmetic items.
To clarify, the ‘multiple bundles rewards’ referred to are an exclusive Godzilla v Kong Weapon Sticker and “Superspecies” Player Title for purchasing two bundles, and an exclusive Legendary Owen Gun Blueprint for buying all three. It’s unlikely that the developers intended to lock the Mechagodzilla pack behind this paywall, and it should appear separately on the Store very soon, so unless you’re desperate to get Mechagodzilla in Warzone immediately our advice would be to remain patient and make an individual purchase when available.
