How to Enable & Use Infernax Cheat Codes?
Head to the Game Wizard location in-game which is near Tohan Passage. Once you reach the area where there’s a Book surrounded by a few candles, press the button prompted on the screen. This will bring up the game wizard where you’ll see the ENTER CODE section. Now type the cheat code mentioned above and you will see the effects immediately. After activating a code, you can toggle it on and off from the Game Wizard menu. Simply head to the Code List and turn them ON or OFF.
Infernax Konami Code
If you use the Konami Code in Infernax, you get some additional advantages too. On the title screen, you need to press the sequence – up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A (O and X for PlayStation players) on your controller. This is a Contra Easter egg where Infernax becomes a Shoot ’em up. Try it out to see it for yourselves!
Where to Find the Game Wizard
Before you can do anything with the Game Wizard you first need to find it. The Game Wizard is located inside of the Backer Mausoleum in the area called the Tohan Passage. I’ve highlighted its location on the map above. Keep in mind that reaching this area involves fighting a werewolf boss that blocks your way. Once that boss is defeated head east and enter the mausoleum. Inside continue right until you reach the Game Wizard book. Interact with the book to open the Game Wizard menu.
Starting from the main town of Darsov, move to the far east (to the right) into the Tohan Passage. You will encounter a man who becomes a werewolf if traveling through here at night. You will need the Skycall ability attained in the dungeon of Stormheim Shore, which requires the Thunderstorm spell to open the dungeon’s entrance. To the right of the werewolf boss battle is a cave to the Backer Mausoleum, a collection of notes from crowd-source funding backers. Going to the far right once again leads to a book that opens the Game Wizard.
It is recommended that one put in at least one cheat code here, as this will allow the player to access the menu from save shrines. Putting in a code creates a toggle for the function in the Code List. Some codes are not compatible with one another. Most codes are revealed in-game through the Inferno Power books in the game’s library gained through achieving certain endings.

Infernax is an authentic retro experience and for that, I commend it. However, it could have gone from good to great if more work went into fleshing out its game world, tweaking its stiff controls, and ironing out its severe technical issues.
Like Simon’s Quest, Infernax is a small-scale metroidvania where you take the role of a virtuous knight who must demolish a series of well-hidden dungeons in order to face the Big Bad.
It manages to be taxing but not needlessly punishing, although you can choose that yourself the first time you die. See, outwardly, Infernax looks like it’s going to be another hardcore roguelike ready to ram its pixelated needles of hatred through your eyes.
Given the lack of new weapons, combat can feel a little repetitive, but Infernax never overstays its welcome, coming in at about 5-6 hours in length (longer if you want to discover all of its secrets).
