Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a 2020 social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch; it is the fifth main entry in the Animal Crossing series. In New Horizons, the player controls a character who moves to a deserted island after purchasing a getaway package from Tom Nook, accomplishes assigned tasks, and develops the island as they choose. They can gather and craft items, customize the island, and develop it into a community of anthropomorphic animals.
Animal Crossing: What Is New Horizons May Day?
To participate, contact Tom Nook at Resident Services. A May Day Ticket for a special May Day Island Tour. By flying to an island with a hedge labyrinth, you’ll save money on airfare.
How does New Horizons May Day work exactly?
The labyrinth in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will include tools, crafting materials, and fruit concealed. To get out of the labyrinth, you’ll need to create new gadgets and consume the fruit at the proper moments. You can’t bring anything with you, which adds to the difficulty. To finish the labyrinth, you can only utilise items found there.
After a fruit, you may use your shovel to smash rocks and lift trees.
A crafting station is located in the labyrinth. Materials for equipment like ladders (which you can find in the maze).
Then use your NookPhone’s Rescue Service app to be guided back to the start and reset the island. (If you leave the island, you can’t return!)
With patience, you should be able to finish in minutes. Grab the Bell Vouchers spread throughout the labyrinth to gain more cash. Each is 3,000 Bells. (If 3,000 Bells aren’t your thing, feel free to skip them and go directly to the finish.)
What are the rewards for finishing the maze?
At the end of the labyrinth, you’ll find Rover, a cat character from earlier Animal Crossing games. He’ll gift you Rover’s Briefcase, a travel-themed accessory. If you’ve done the event before, you’ll obtain Rover’s Photo. Your award will be sent to you after you get home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
The tour and ticket are only valid after you have your prize. Although this event has just one task, it is good to meet a familiar face. We have no idea what this means for Rover or whether he will return.

Animal Crossing Brewster Coaster Set Has Been Added As A My Nintendo Reward
The US is once again getting the cutest and coolest additions to the My Nintendo points service. Last time, it was this adorable Kirby shopping bag. Today, it’s these wonderful-looking Animal Crossing: New Horizons coasters.
This My Nintendo exclusive contains three little coasters, each with our favourite pigeon barista Brewster’s face printed on the top, all kept neatly together in a matching tin. Nothing beats a good cup of coffee, and this coaster set would make every sip all the more sweet and delectable.
Brewster has long been a favourite with Animal Crossing fans, and his long-awaited addition to New Horizons with the 2.0 update was widely celebrated by many. We definitely got The Roost built as soon as possible so we could accompany our real-life morning routine of grabbing a cup of coffee with the Animal Crossing version. Just look at how perfect the set is.
These coasters would make this ritual even more perfect, so maybe, maaaaybe one day, Nintendo will actually release these as merchandise. Or something similar. Though we might be a bit less sure after reading this…
It’s not like the coasters will inflict Brewster’s dark secrets into your coffee now, is it? So if you have 700 platinum points lying around, you should get on ordering this set right away by heading to the My Nintendo Store right here. The coasters are only available in the US at the moment, sadly, but maybe one day we’ll see them in other territories!
Multiplayer and updates Fun ways to keep playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing: New Horizons embraces multiplayer. While previous entries had ways of connecting with others, this game makes it easier. With online multiplayer, you have to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. If you do, you can visit a friend’s island and check things out. This is great, especially if you need the fruit or other material on their island. Plus, you can browse the shops, pick up things that might not be available in your town, and check out what they’ve done to the place. You can even send letters and gifts.
You can’t do much else, but you can explore new places, which is still fun. However, if you only have a few friends, it can get boring fast. Luckily there are always new places to explore, and you actually don’t have to leave home for something new. Fun events can occur in your town every day.
Nintendo promised frequent updates, and you can already experience some fun with celebrations as more shops and buildings get added to your town. Wandering individuals can randomly show up, like Gulliver, the shipwrecked seagull, or Daisy-Mae, the turnip salesperson. As the seasons change, new social events will pop up, new bugs and fish will appear, and as your town grows, so will your opportunities. There are always new ways to keep playing and fun stuff to explore.
For those untouched by the cult of Nook, Animal Crossing: New Horizons lets you set up an alternate life on a pleasant island populated by gently weird animals. You fish, catch bugs, water flowers, plant fruit trees and accumulate cute things with which to decorate your home and set dress the island.
The game is no doubt popular among kids, but adults seem to find just as much enjoyment on their Islands. … The growing number of adult gamers throughout the world deserve an Animal Crossing experience they can enjoy too, and given these statistics, New Horizons seems to provide just that.
You’ll be pleased to know that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been rated PEGI 3. So, the game is appropriate for players that are 3 years and above, which is almost everyone who can hold a controller.
Best answer: Yes! Animal Crossing: New Horizons will feature multiplayer. It’s confirmed that up to eight players can play together online, while up to four players can explore an island locally thanks to the new “Call an Islander” app on your standard-issue NookPhone.
