Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a 2022 Lego-themed action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sixth entry in TT Games’ Lego Star Wars series of video games and the successor to 2016’s Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The game adapts all nine entries in the Skywalker Saga series of films, with additional characters based on other Star Wars films and television series released as DLC.

The game takes about twenty hours to complete if players only do the bare minimum. However, for those who like to explore and want to see everything that the new story has to offer, things can get a lot longer.

There is at least another ten hours of gameplay for players who decide to complete all the secondary tasks and search all the maps. The Skywalker Saga has Easter eggs, complex environments, and lots of extra tasks that can easily ensnare players and keep them playing.

Completing each of the individual chapters of the game can take between two and three hours, depending on players’ dedication. The story is also one that can be played in any order.

Fans can choose to begin The Skywalker Saga with episodes 1, 4, and 7. How to upgrade Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga PS4 to PS5

To upgrade from PS4 disc to the PS5 digital version, the first thing you need is a PS5 console with a disc drive – unfortunately, this means that if you have the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition this upgrade option isn’t available to you. To get started, insert the PS4 disc into your PS5 then navigate to the game hub. Here you should see the option to claim the upgrade offer on your account, after which you can download the PS5 digital version to your console.

Note that although you’re downloading and installing the PS5 digital version of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to your internal hard drive, you’ll need to insert the original PS4 disc into your console before you can play the PS5 version. This is to confirm that you still own and are currently in possession of the disc, so make sure you look after it.

If you’ve bought the standard or deluxe edition of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga digitally for PS4, then you don’t need to upgrade as this purchase automatically includes the digital PS5 version as well. When you access your PSN account’s Game Library on a PS5 console and select Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from your list of owned titled, you should be prompted to choose between the PS5 and PS4 versions, so pick the PS5 version to set it downloading and you’ll be all set.

HOW TO SET UP LEGO STAR WARS: THE SKYWALKER SAGA SPLIT-SCREEN CO-OP

Similar to previous Lego games from TT Games, the game will have a traditional split-screen system in place. This allows players to stray far from one another and, in some cases, even travel to different locations on the same planet. For example, on Coruscant, players can be in the Federal District and the Jedi Temple at the same time.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga utilises the same drop-in/drop-out co-op mechanic present in previous Lego games. If you want to drop-out, all you need to do is pause the game and select “Drop-Out” on Player Two’s controller.
