Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a 2022 Lego-themed action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
Is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga a remake?
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the sixth entry in TT Games’ Lego Star Wars series of video games and the successor to 2016’s Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The game adapts all nine entries in the Skywalker Saga series of films, with additional characters based on other Star Wars films and television series released as DLC.
The game was released on 5 April 2022 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It received generally favorable reviews from critics, with praise for its graphics, humor, combat, and level design, though minor criticism was aimed at its excessive side content, technical issues, and lack of online co-op. The game sold more than 3.2 million copies within two weeks of its release.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – Gameplay Overview
Unlike most Lego video games in which players had to advance through the story in a linear order, players can choose to start the game from any of the three Skywalker Saga trilogies and complete them in any order they wish. Each episode has five main story missions, making a total of 45 levels, contrasting from six levels per episode in previous games. Combat has been revamped from previous titles, such as lightsaber wielders now using a variety of combo with light attacks, heavy attacks, and Force moves, and blaster characters having an over-the-shoulder camera. The game features 380 playable characters, not necessarily restricted to the nine Skywalker Saga films.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not feature a character customization tool unlike many previous Lego video games. The game also includes Mumble Mode, an extra feature allowing players to switch between the game’s original voice acting and having the characters mumble and grunt, akin to the style of older Lego video games.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the Second-Best Selling Game in 2022
The game seems to be full of accolades and firsts, as The Skywalker Saga is also the first third-party game on Nintendo Switch in a year to rank as a best-seller on its platforms. This comes after Monster Hunter Rise all the way back in March 2021. For the month of April this year, The Skywalker Saga has been the top-selling game across the platforms of Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.
With all the content in the game, it’s no wonder that it has been a fan favorite since its release. There are over 300 unlockable characters in the game, and collecting them is a task itself for the hardcore players who take up the challenge to finish the game in its entirety. There are numerous puzzles waiting to be solved, the chance to go back and get more items during the free play mode of the game if you’ve missed any, and DLCs to keep you engrossed for hours after you’ve finished the base game.
There’s a long adventure awaiting you in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga that will keep you busy for months if you’re up for the challenge.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: Completing challenge ‘There is No Conflict’
To get credit for completing the ‘There is No Conflict’ challenge in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players have to use weapons found inside an Imperial Weapons Crate. It shows up during the level ‘Fulfill Your Destiny.’
You’ll be targeted by Emperor Palpatine’s force lightning during the story. This is the moment the challenge can be completed, like so:
- Step 1: Turn towards the elevator (where the Royal Guards emerge from) and walk around to the right.
- Step 2: Switch to an Empire-related character, like a Stormtrooper.
- Step 3: Open the Imperial Weapons Crate and pick a weapon. It doesn’t matter which one you choose.
- Step 4: Use the chosen weapon on an Empire-related enemy, like the Royal Guards. The trick here is that you cannot finish this challenge while in Story Mode. You’ll only have access to Luke. Instead, come back during Free Play and use the villain above character to unlock the Imperial Weapons Crate.
While you’re attempting to complete ‘There is No Conflict,’ the other two challenges in the level can be finished at the same time.

LEGO Skywalker Saga is a complete collection of the original Star Wars trilogy, the prequels, and the sequels. It introduced new features such as an open world and character classes. It also features voice acting, which is a relatively new change for LEGO Star Wars introduced in the 2016 The Force Awakens LEGO game.
In 2022, The Lego Group announced the Lego Star Wars theme will continue until 2032.
