  • Xbox Cloud Gaming, formerly known as Project xCloud, is Microsoft’s streaming game service. It allows you to play Xbox games on your phone, tablet or PC, without needing an Xbox console.
  • To use it, you need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. This costs $14.99/month and includes access to over 100 Xbox and PC games, as well as Cloud Gaming.

  • You need a fast and reliable internet connection. Microsoft recommends at least 10 Mbps download speed for 720p gameplay and 20 Mbps for 1080p.
  • Latency and input lag can sometimes be an issue depending on your internet connection and location. The experience is best on a 5GHz WiFi network with a strong signal.
  • You can play with a Bluetooth or USB controller connected to your device. On-screen touch controls are available for some games too.
  • Over 100 Xbox games are currently available via Cloud Gaming, including Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Gears 5 and more.
  • Cloud Gaming is still in beta, so some features and performance may improve over time as Microsoft refines the service.
