The Night Market in Valorant is a periodic store extension that gives players another way of obtaining weapon skins besides the usual daily offers and store bundle.
Whenever a new Market is opened, players will receive offers for six random weapon skins that will be randomly discounted. These offers are unique for each player. Players only receive one set of offers and each set only available for a limited time.
What is the Valorant Night Market?
The Valorant Night Market is a rotating store that drops at random in-game. On offer are six different guns skins which are offered to players at a discounted price. Importantly, the skins are entirely randomized.
However, due to particularly scathing criticisms of the feature‘s first run back in December 2020, Riot implemented a Bad Luck Protection guarantee to make sure you don’t walk away disappointed.
If you don’t own every Premium Edition skin then you will receive at least two Premium skins in your pool. Additionally, you can no longer get two skins for the same weapon to increase the variety on offer.
Where to get Valorant Night Market
Unfortunately, the skins that are presented to you are account specific and there is no fixed rotation for Valorant’s Night Market in the May 2022 rotation. The randomness can be frustrating as players are most times unable to get their favorite skins despite waiting for months. In League of Legends, the skins presented to each player are dependent on account activity but there are no such systems in place for players in Valorant.
The saving grace is that the Night Market returns frequently and you need to wait just eight weeks before getting a fresh selection of skins to choose from. A re-roll feature would be a welcome change but Riot Games has not hinted at any plans to introduce re-rolling the skins using premium currency.
Needless to say, the cosmetics are by no means necessary to play Valorant. If you want to show off to your friends and teammates they are nice to have, but are by no means essential for enjoying the game.
When available, the Night Market can be found in the top right-hand corner of the game’s opening screen. It’s signified by a little card logo that sparkles to catch your attention. All you have to do is turn over the cards and that’ll tell you what skin is on offer as well as the percentage discount.
Additionally, the color of the card’s background and the little shape in the bottom right-hand corner will indicate the tier of skin that this is.

WHEN IS THE NEXT VALORANT NIGHT MARKET?
The next Valorant Night Market is on May 18. The market is now open for business for the next 12 days, until May 30. Riot originally announced the shop this time around a week before it went live – hopefully, then, we’ll get more of a heads-up for future announcements.
When the market is open, you’ll have the chance to pick up six randomly generated skins. Two old skins can also be traded in for a discounted price. Here are all the previous Valorant Night Market dates:
December 10, 2020 – January 11, 2021
February 11, 2021 – February 23, 2021
April 8, 2021 – April 20, 2021
June 2, 2021 – June 15, 2021
July 28, 2021 – August 10, 2021
September 29, 2021 – October 12, 2021
December 9, 2021 – December 21, 2021
February 9, 2022 – February 22, 2022
April 6, 2022 – April 19, 2022
When the Night Market finally arrives in VALORANT, it tends to stay up for around two weeks, giving just enough time for players to purchase the skins they would like to collect.
SO I CAN GET ANY SKIN I WANT?
Not exactly. The weapon skins that appear in the Night Market can be anything from an Act that is greater than one Act ago, meaning the Night Market you can access in Act 3 will have content from Act 1, and so on.
Select, Deluxe, and Premium Edition skins all have a chance to appear in the Night Market. At least 2 Premium Edition or higher skins are guaranteed to appear, and you won’t get more than 2 offers for the same weapon (unless that would prevent you from getting 6 offers at once!). Not only that, but you may even encounter some Exclusive Melee weapon skins!
How Does the Night Market work?
Riot never released the actual method which determines our night market. But for a broad view, Valorant Night Market is a collection of 6 random weapons at a discounted price. You can buy these weapons just like you would from the store. The only catch is these 6 weapons will be unique to your account only.
But at the same time, it doesn’t mean you can select any weapon skin you want. Riot will choose any 6 skins at random with the guarantee of you having at least 2 Premium Edition or higher skins. With that, you may also have the chance to get Exclusive Melee weapon skins. But it is all up to chance. And once you get your Night market, you can’t edit or change it.
WHAT VALORANT NIGHT MARKET SKINS WILL BE OFFERED?
All Valorant skins, except those classed as Ultra Edition, will be offered at the Night Market.
There’s no way of predicting what skins you’ll be offered when you open your Night Market, but you are guaranteed six skins – each for different weapons.
CAN I REROLL MY VALORANT NIGHT MARKET SKINS?
No, you cannot choose to change your Valorant Night Market skins. The skins on offer are the only skins you’ll have the chance to pick up that month. If you want different skins, you’ll have to wait until the next Night Market appearance.
How to access Night Market in Valorant
You don’t have to jump any hoops and loops to see your Night Market offers. Simply click on the card that appears next to the store tab and you’ll be able to see your own offers.
Once the Night Market is open for business, you’ll see a prompt on the left hand side of the main menu telling you it’s here. Click on that and you’ll be taken to the shop, where you can then click on each card to reveal your skins for the month.
If you decide not to buy something there and then, returning to the Night Shop can be a bit tricky as the prompt often disappears. Instead, you’ll be able to click the tarot-looking card at the top right of your screen next to the store tab.
And that’s pretty much everything you need to know about the Valorant Night Market! Don’t be upset if you don’t get that coveted skin you want, as more Night Markets will show up throughout the year.
VALORANT may be a free-to-play game, but its monetization model is based on skins and cosmetic items.
Night. Market will go live on September 29 at 5pm PT, and ends October 12 at 5pm PT. You never know what will be on offer at Night. Market, and weapon vendors rarely offer the same prices twice.
One of Riot Games’ best additions to Valorant is the Night Market, the rotating bi-monthly store that offers players a random selection of awesome new skins at reduced prices.
Nevertheless, its always good to know when the market is coming to Valorant and sadly, you may have just missed one. Night Market will go live on May 19, 2022 and will last 12 days, ending on June 1st, 2022.
