The Best Valorant Odin Skins

What Are The Best Valorant Odin Skins? Which Skin Is The Best?

Odin is one of the most underrated weapons in Valorant. Mostly used in lower ranks (especially Iron), Odin doesn’t have a lot of weapon skins. We’ll take a look at the best Odin skins in Valorant!

The Best Valorant Odin Skins

Dot EXE Odin
Since there aren’t many Odin skins in Valorant, the first place goes to Dot EXE Odin. It may not be for everyone, but if you dig simple futuristic designs, you’ll love this Odin skin. The lines stretching across the skin look like they come straight out of Tron.

Lycan’s Bane Odin
Lycan’s Bane Odin skin may not have cool animations, but it has one of the coolest designs of all Valorant skins. Its wolf-like features with matching red and silver bullets look great. Lycan’s Bane Odin skin was available in the Episode 4 Act 2 Battle Pass.

BlastX Odin
Are you a fan of toys and LEGO sets? Then the BlastX Odin skin won’t disappoint your needs. The skin animations and VFX are plain awesome. When you pull out the BlastX Odin, you are actually unwrapping a present and shooting nerf darts.

Prime 2.0 Odin
This gold and white Prime 2.0 Odin skin is just in your face, and we love it. It honestly looks pixelated in-game too and of course part of the Prime collection. Although Prime 2.0 is fairly old, it still has one of the slickest reload and death animations with one of the best Vandal skins too.

Glitchpop Odin
The best Odin skin title has to go to the Glitchpop Odin. When you think of Odin, you think of pure chaos, and that’s what the Glitchpop skins represent. All the VFX and animations are pure great, and the 4 skin variations don’t feel like the same skin at all for that perfect aim.

Smite Odin skin
The Smite Odin skin was added to the game on September, 15th, 2020, as a part of the Smite Collection. It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it only comes in one variant. You can purchase the Smite Odin skin for 875 VPs in the Valorant Store.

Okay, now something cheaper but still very fitting for Odin. This skin will make you feel like Zeus! Seriously, it’s just a shame that there is no additional animation that turns bullets into thunders, but well — that’s what you get for such a small price. It’s also worth noting that the Smite skin collection also has a reasonably cheap Melee skin that, despite appearances, doesn’t look so bad.

Aerosol Odin skin
The Aerosol Odin skin was added to the game on January 12th, 2021, as a part of the Formation: Act 1 Battle Pass. It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it only comes in one variant. You could only get it by leveling the Battle Pass up to Tier 40.

Let’s end this listing with a Battle Pass skin from the first Act of Valorant Episode 2. Some people call this one a “budget Glitchpop”, and they’re somewhat right. However, Aerosol Odin has more of a street vibe, so it will be perfect if you don’t like the candy-coated designs but still want a colorful weapon skin for Odin. We hope that Riot will someday provide an option to buy old Battle Pass skins because there are really many nice ones. On the other hand, not having access to them makes them more prestigious, doesn’t it?

Ranking Every ODIN Skin In VALORANT From Worst to Best

The Odin is a high rate-of-fire heavy weapon in VALORANT priced at 3200 in-game credits. It is on the more expensive side compared to rifles at 2900 credits. But in the right scenario, the Odin can be one of the deadliest weapons in the game. As it is a machine gun, it is used to defend a site or get kills through walls. You can kill an enemy with two shots to the head or one shot to the head & two shots to the body.

The Odin also has high penetration power, a high rate of fire, and a huge magazine, making it the best gun to wallbang enemies through to get some cheeky kills. It is common to see Sovas propped up with an Odin and using their recon arrow to spot enemies. After revealing an enemy, they can get easy kills with the Odin.

Skins in VALORANT are merely decorative and do not offer any real in-game advantages vs. the default skin. Although compared to other games like CS:GO, which only offer recolors of the same exact weapon, the devs at Riot went a bit overboard with the skins in VALORANT as they completely alter the look of the weapon, add special VFX, GFX, and one skin turns your weapon into a literal dragon!

VALORANT Odin Wallbang Tips for Defense

The Odin is best known for its strong bullet penetration through walls and…for starting arguments in the chat with opponents.

The Odin is quite expensive, priced at 3200. It becomes a situational purchase when you add up the cost of buying a shield and all your utility. You will need to have roughly 5000 credits to purchase the Odin without having to make sacrifices to your kit.

It’s not recommended to crush your own economy just to rush an Odin early in the game. It might even work in your favor to let the enemy see that you are playing a very orthodox style of defense with your rifle for the first few rounds.

Later, a scenario may arise where you won the most recent round and you survived but some of your teammates died, consequently they are now broke and unable to purchase a rifle.

If you now have 5000 credits, this may just be the optimal way to introduce the Odin to your game, by dropping your Vandal or Phantom to your teammate. This way you have been cost efficient whilst spicing up your hold on site with a weapon change that the opponents won’t suspect.

The Odin has the best bullet penetration in the game, meaning you can deal lethal damage quicker through walls than if you were to use any other gun. Many walls and objects in VALORANT are highly penetrable and those that you should look to make wall.

You can play behind double box and wallbang through with the Odin onto revealed opponents. You could even play in Hell whilst having set up your wires deeper on-site, like connecting double box to hell and double box to generator since the wooden wall in hell allows for high bullet penetration.

Is Odin good VALORANT?

The Odin has the best bullet penetration in the game, meaning you can deal lethal damage quicker through walls than if you were to use any other gun. Many walls and objects in VALORANT are highly penetrable and those that you should look to make wallbang plays on will now be discussed.

How much is the prime Odin?

The Prime collection launched on 2nd June 2020 with glowing feedback. It included weapon skins for five weapons along with a gun buddy, spray, and a player card. The bundle costs 7,100 VP. The items individually cost 11,825 VP.

How much is the Glitchpop Odin?

Upgradable skin from the store that is purchasable in-game for 2,175 Valorant Points. The skin for each of the weapons, including Odin has some unique visual finish or animation effects, but it does not affect the gameplay. The skin is available since August 5, 2020.

Why is the Odin so op?

It has zero recoil and combined with it’s damage and fire rate makes it OP but it doesn’t stop there. With the ODIN You can prefire everything and win so many gunfights thanks to the magazine size.
