Will Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves come out on PC? When Is The Release Date?

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves PC release date leaked by Epi. Epic has updated its website and removed June 20 as the PC release date for the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, instead penciling in a vague “coming soon.” The publisher did not explicitly deny the seemingly leaked release date, but officially it remains unannounced.

After being confirmed last year, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection finally came to the PS5 in January ahead of the live-action adaptation’s premiere. Since then, we haven’t heard much from Naughty Dog and PlayStation Studios about when the PC port could arrive. But, thanks to the Epic Games Store, we know exactly when to expect Nathan Drake’s first native foray into the PC platform.

According to an official Epic Games Store listing, the PC Port of Naughty Dog’s two most recent Uncharted games is coming on June 20. The date isn’t that far off from the June 15 release date found on the Steam database last month. Unfortunately, Epic has updated the post to say that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is “coming soon”, which might indicate that June 15 and 20 are just placeholder dates.

For those who missed out on the initial Legacy of Thieves Collection announcement, the bundle combines Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The two Uncharted games are widely considered some of the best in the franchise if not the most graphically beautiful. The former sees Nathan Drake go on what’s presumed to be a final adventure before finally retiring for good. Meanwhile, the latter follows Chloe Frazier in a spin-off that’s well worthy of being a numbered installment.

Regardless of whether or not the Legacy of Thieves Collection will drop on June 15 or 20, it appears that we’re bound to hear about the PC port soon.

Following its official announcement in September, Naughty Dog has now listed ‘Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection’ on Steam. The package includes the two latest games in the series – Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

The store page does not reveal much about the collection, except for its 2022 release window, which remains the same as before. Unlike its PlayStation 5 version, which is being developed by Naughty Dog themselves, its PC port will be developed by Iron Galaxy Studios. The team had previously ported games such as ‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ for the Nintendo Switch and the PS exclusive, ‘Crash Bandicoot’ to Steam.

Currently, there is no official listing for the game’s system requirements. But, going by previous PlayStation releases, we could expect a seamless 4K 60FPS experience, support for ultrawide monitors, an enhanced photo mode, and uncapped frame rates (on lower resolutions).

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Guide

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is a remastered collection of two games in the Uncharted saga. Featured are Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Uncharted 4 features Nathan Drake as he hunts for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure, setting off for one final far flung adventure across the jungles of Madagascar to long lost pirate colony of Libertalia. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which chronicles Chloe Frazer’s breakout exploits as she moves from frenemy to hero. Enlisting the assistance of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross, Chloe ventures to India’s Western Ghats to locate the Golden Tusk of Ganesh.

Set three years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Nathan Drake has presumably left the world of fortune hunting behind. However, it doesn’t take long for adventure to come calling when Drake’s brother, Sam, resurfaces seeking his help to save his own life and offering an adventure Drake can’t resist. On the hunt for Captain Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure, Sam and Drake set off to find Libertalia, the pirate utopia deep in the forests of Madagascar. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End takes players on a journey around the globe, through jungle isles, urban cities and snow-capped peaks on the search for Avery’s fortune.

Led by Chloe Frazer, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a standalone chapter covering unseen aspects of the Uncharted saga. In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross. Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.

How To Play Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves

Step 1: Beat the Story on Crushing, Get All Collectibles 

Crushing is available from the start. It is greyed out in the difficulty options, but you can select it anyway. For Uncharted veterans this is recommended as it is the fastest way to get the Platinum and saves you another playthrough.

Step 2: Kill-related / Combat Trophy Farming

By now you will have unlocked the bulk of combat trophies through natural gameplay. The rest can be farmed quickly and easily at certain spots. Check what trophies you are missing and refer to the trophy guide for best farming spots. If you are still missing a chapter specific trophy you can get it via chapter select.

In case you are missing a weapon for “Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum” (use all 24 guns), please know there’s weapon select in the bonus menu after beating the game for the first time. You can simply select your missing weapons from the bonus menu and don’t have to search for them. It’s not necessary to kill an enemy with the guns, just fire one shot with each one.

Step 3: The Way of the Warrior Trophy on Explorer Difficulty

For “The Way of the Warrior” you must start a new game, choose NO when asked if you want to carry over treasures and stats, and play from the prologue to the beginning of chapter 5 without firing a single shot and without throwing grenades or gas canisters. Explorer difficulty is recommended.
