VIRLANLarian Studios is the developer and publisher of Baldur’s Gate III, an upcoming role-playing video game that is the third major game in the Baldur’s Gate series, based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. A beta version of the game was made available in early access mode for Windows, macOS, and the Stadia streaming service on 6 October 2020. The game is anticipated to remain in early access until its complete release on PC on 3 August 2023, followed shortly by a launch on the PlayStation 5 on 6 September 2023. The Xbox Series X/S version is also in the works, while the Stadia version was cancelled after the service’s shutdown.
