VIRLANIn The Division 2, the Descent mode enables players to confront waves of enemies without their gear, either alone or with up to four players. Along the way, players can acquire skills, talents, and weapons to strengthen themselves and combat the final enemy. However, if players quit or die during Descent mode, their collected items will be lost.
Completing the Descent mode will reward players with experience, caches, and collectibles. To access the Descent mode, players need to reach level 2 and can do so by accessing the Mega-Map or by fast traveling to the Castle Settlement.
To play Descent mode with other players, players can create a group with friends or matchmake with other players.
The game developers will temporarily suspend Division 2 players who took advantage of the exploit to progress quickly in the game, and their progress will be reverted.
