For Single Player:

• Play Marathon mode on an easy CPU difficulty. The AI takes longer to move and make decisions.

• Choose Wario as your character. He has the highest movement stats which make him the fastest.

• Pick Yoshi’s Tropical Island board. It has the fewest obstacles to slow you down.

• Focus on the star space. Take the shortest path possible to the star at each rotation.

• Use item boxes to get Mushroom and Flower power-ups. They double your dice rolls.

• Watch out for happening and event spaces. Try to avoid them as they waste time.

• Skip minigames. Forfeit them instantly since they take the most time.

• If you have to play a minigame, aim to finish it as fast as possible. Don’t worry about winning.

• Don’t buy or trade stars. Go straight to the star space every time.

For Multiplayer:

• Have all players select Wario for his speed.

• Choose Yoshi’s Tropical Island board.

• All players should focus solely on reaching the star space as fast as possible.

• Players should avoid helpful items and only take Mushroom/Flower power-ups.

• Skipping and rushing through mini-games remains the top priority.

• Turn off unnecessary animations and screen transitions in the game’s settings.
