VIRLANFormer President Donald Trump has joined the NFT craze by launching his own Trump NFT collection. The Trump NFTs feature digital artworks depicting iconic moments from Trump’s time in office and are aimed at capitalizing on his large fanbase among conservatives and Republicans.
The first NFT drops include designs depicting Trump’s MAGA rallies, images from his inauguration, and a collection called “Patriots of the Future” showing digital sculptures of eagles and American flags. There will also be exclusive NFTs offered only to members of Trump’s social network, Truth Social.
While the Trump NFT launch has been met with criticism from some who argue it is a cash grab, backers say it allows Trump to continue connecting directly with his most loyal supporters in innovative ways.
