The Road to the Final promo in FIFA 22. We tell you what the RTTF event in Ultimate Team is, how upgrades wirk and of course when the next RTTF cards will be released in FIFA 22.
We tell you all about the Road to the Final (RTTF) cards in FIFA 22. This event has become a tradition in FIFA Ultimate Team. The RTTF event in FIFA 21 brought some OP cards. We expect the same in FIFA 22.
The RTTF cards are dynamic, which means they can improve as the season progresses. Of course, we’ll tell you how it all works. We will update this article whenever new RTTF players are released or get their upgrades.
What is RTTF in FIFA 22?
RTTF is the Road to the Final event in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. The dynamic cards related to the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will upgrade automatically after certain requirements are met. We expect the RTTF event to work the same as in previous years.
In FIFA 21, we had three teams that appeared until the knockout stage of the European competitions, so you can look forward to insanely good players like Messi, Lewandowski, Salah and Co. You can also follow all news around Road to the Final at any time on EA’s official homepage. The dynamic upgrades are only available at EarlyGame.
Road to the Final: When Will Team 2 Be Released?
The FIFA 22 Road to the Final (RTTF) event started on Friday, February 18 with Team 1. On February 20 we got a Mini Release. This is the time table for further RTTF cards:
FIFA 22 RTTF Mini Release 2 releases on Sunday, February 27
For quite some time nobody really knew which promo would start after Future Stars in FIFA 22 – even our trusted leakers assumed FUT Captains at first, which… Will be postponed or won’t come at all? Well, we’re not quite sure about that, but of course we’ll keep you updated in our FUT Calendar.
How Do RTTF Upgrades Work In FIFA 22?
As in previous years, the cards will receive dynamic upgrades. The upgrades relate to the reallife results of the Champions, Europa and Conference Leagues. The popular Conference League (sarcasm) will be there for the first time with RTTF cards.
Cards can get five upgrades if they manage to fulfill these requirements:
First knockout game win after campaign launch
Qualifying for the Quarter Finals
Qualifying for the Semi Finals
Qualifying for the Final
Winning the tournament
RTTF Upgrades FIFA 22
What is there to say besides that the best time of FIFA 22 has finally come to an end as Presnel Kimpembe really is part of the RTTF event. After all, the Frenchman had no Special Card in FIFA 22 prior to this day. Well, let’s stay positive.
Kai Havertz won against Lille with Chelsea. This makes him the first player to improve his RTTF. Congratulations. Alex Telles, Marcos Llorente and Lisandro Martínez miss out on the upgrade. There were no winners between Atletico vs ManUnited and Benfica vs Ajax.
FIFA 22 RTTF – Champions-, Europa- & Conference League Upgrades
There has been draw drama – just how we like it! The CL draw had to be repeated because the officials and the software made a mistake. For us gamers, this is relevant because teams like Bayern Munich now have a much easier draw.
So pay attention to the following matches if you want to get a RTTF player. It’s only worth it if the team makes it to the next round safely.

Regardless of whether it’s Weekend League, Squad Battles or Division Rivals – EA doesn’t leave us hanging. The way to the top is hard and challenging. But it’s definitely worth it. What Time Do Division Rivals Rewards Come Out?
You can claim your Division Rivals rewards every Thursday at 7 AM GMT (9 AM CET). Very important date. Forget your girlfriend’s birthday, this is serious.
FUT Rivals – How Do Ranks & Divisions Work?
As the name suggests, this mode in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is split up into divisions – Division 1 to 10 and an Elite Division. You can advance between the divisions by earning enough Rivals Points and climbing up the ranks.
Since FIFA 22 Season 4, ranks no longer affect your rewards, but only serve as checkpoints on your way to the top.
FUT 22 Division Rivals Rewards
Division Rivals is probably the most played mode in Ultimate Team in FIFA 22. The list of rewards is long, so we don’t want to waste any more time. Let’s start with Division 10.
