Sorn Leaves CLC And Cube Entertainment
Sorn has parted ways with CLC and Cube Entertainment.
On November 16, Cube Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello.
This is Cube Entertainment.
This is an announcement that our exclusive contract with Sorn has been terminated.
As her exclusive contract has ended, she has also left CLC.
This decision was made following mutual discussion.
We express gratitude to the fans who have cherished Sorn until now.
Please show warm support and encouragement for Sorn’s new start.
Thank you.
Sorn also took to her social media to share a personal message.
Sorn debuted as a member of CLC in 2015. Following Elkie, Sorn is now the second CLC member to leave the group and Cube Entertainment.

Sorn leaves CLC & contract with Cube Entertainment comes to an end
Sorn has officially left CLC, and her contract with Cube Entertainment has come to an end.
On November 16, Cube Entertainment announced Sorn’s exclusive contract with the label is now terminated after a mutual agreement between both parties. She’ll also be withdrawing as member from CLC.
Sorn herself has spoken up on the end of her contract as well, echoing Cube’s statement of a mutual agreement. She further expressed her feelings on promoting as an artist in Korea and her time with CLC as a whole in the Twitter post below.
Her exit from CLC and Cube Entertainment follow a controversial Tik Tok video featuring ‘Squid Game’ character Ali, played by Anupam Tripathi, and her deletion of all her YouTube videos.

Yujin tearfully reveals the truth behind the group’s status
CLC’s Yujin made a heavy statement on the future of CLC, and fans are not happy with what they had to hear.
Yujin is a member of the 6-member girl group, formed and managed by Cube Entertainment. They debuted in 2015 with their EP “First Love,” with 5 members; 2 were added later and after Elkie’s departure in February 2021, the current CLC lineup is Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, Yeeun and Eunbin.
Yujin made a statement on the currently-airing idol-survival show Girls Planet 999, and fans ran to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the current situation.

On the 2nd episode of Girls Planet 999, fans were able to see CLC’s Yujin perform her own rendition of HyunA’s “Bubble Pop.” It was a happy sight for fans, as HyunA previously worked at Cube Entertainment, and had in fact written lyrics for CLC’s “Hobgoblin.”

CLC is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment.
(Korean: 씨엘씨, an acronym for Crystal Clear )
CLC members : Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Yeeun, Eunbin.
The group consists of five members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Yeeun, and Eunbin. Originally a seven-piece ensemble from February 2016, Elkie departed from the group in February 2021, and Sorn departed from the group in November 2021.
Their debut EP First Love was released on March 19, 2015, with five group members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn and Yeeun. The remaining two members, Elkie and Eunbin, were added to the group with the release of their third EP, Refresh, on February 29, 2016, though Eunbin did not participate in official promotions until the release of their fourth EP, Nu.clear, in May 2016.
CLC is a K-pop girl group that was formed in 2015 under Cube Entertainment.
Home to some of the most iconic K-pop acts like Rain, BTOB, 4minute and Beast (Highlight), the agency is responsible for managing the activities and promoting the releases of CLC. And the girl group has done quite well since their rookie years. From ranking high on charts like Billboard to having sold-out concerts and music show wins, CLC was one of the leading groups of third-gen.
