McCormick & Company, Inc. Voluntarily collects McCormick Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, McCormick Culinary Italian Seasoning, and Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Ranch Seasoning due to possible salmonella contamination.

 

Check your pantry; three different seasonings are being voluntarily recalled due to a salmonella risk.

McCormick & Company initiated a voluntary recall of three seasonings after routine FDA testing uncovered possible salmonella contamination.

The three seasonings are McCormick Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, McCormick Culinary Italian Seasoning and Frank’s Redhot Buffalo Ranch Seasoning.

 

Hannaford recalls some baked goods following McCormick seasoning recall


No injuries or illnesses have been reported, but Hannaford urges customers should not eat the product and may return it to the store for a full refund.


Following a national recall by McCormick for its Perfect Pinch Italian Seasoning, Hannaford Supermarkets has issued a recall for certain store-baked private label bakery items.

According to a recall by McCormick, the spice has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The products impacted may have been purchased between June 22 and July 27, 2021.


No injuries or illnesses have been reported, but Hannaford urges customers should not eat the product and may return it to the store for a full refund.

Classic Garlic Focaccia
Classic Asiago Focaccia
Pepperoni Party Bread
Hannaford Classic Focaccia
Hannaford Classic Garlic Focaccia
Hannaford Bacon Party Bread

All of these items would have been purchased in the bakery of your selected Hannaford location.

The potential risk caught McCormick’s attention by the FDA during regular testing. This recall affects cases where the affected date code was shipped.

McCormick has warned customers and grocery stores to immediately remove the affected date code product from store shelves and distribution centers and destroy this product in a way that prevents further consumption.



Consumers do not have to return the product to the store where they purchased it. Instead, consumers are urged to dispose of the recalled product and its containers.
