Brendan Rodgers’ side have made a disappointing start to the campaign, claiming just eight points from their seven opening matches and failing to win any of their last four.
Leicester City vs Manchester United latest odds
However, having come out on top in each of their last two games against this opposition, Leicester are available at 5/2 (3.50) with bet365 to earn a much-needed morale boost by coming out on top once again.
Man Utd are also in low spirits after taking just one point from the last available six but are 21/20 (2.05) favourites to get back on track with a victory here.
Just one of the last seven meetings between this duo has resulted in a draw, but you can get odds of 13/5 (3.60) on them cancelling each other out on this occasion.
Leicester City vs Manchester United first goalscorer
With six goals to his name in seven league games so far, Jamie Vardy is his side’s 13/2 (7.50) favourite to open the scoring, while Kelechi Iheanacho can be backed at 15/2 (8.50) after scoring twice in last season’s 3-1 FA Cup win over this opponent here.
Cristiano Ronaldo started on the bench in the 1-1 draw with Everton prior to the international break but is the 3/1 (4.00) front runner to break the deadlock, with Bruno Fernandes a 7/1 (8.00) shot at a ground where he has scored in two of his three previous visits.
Leicester City vs Manchester United preview
After taking just one point from their last two home games against Aston Villa and Everton, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men might be feeling relieved to go back on the road again for this clash.
Indeed, they have looked far more assured away from home than at Old Trafford recently, currently enjoying a club record 29-match unbeaten streak in the league on their travels.
Leicester City vs Manchester United tips & predictions
With the Foxes in poor form and missing a number of key defensive players, 21/20 (2.05) seem generous on United bouncing back with a victory at a ground where they remained unbeaten in each of their last six visits.

Man Utd defend decision to fly 100 miles to Leicester for Premier League game
Manchester United have defended their decision to fly the 100-mile journey to their Premier League game at Leicester.
United say they would not normally fly to the game but plans changed due to “circumstances”. There were reports of traffic congestion on the M6.
Flying is a significant contributor to global warming and world leaders are meeting later this month in an attempt to avoid a climate catastrophe.
Manchester United defended its commitment to clean energy.
Climate experts and campaigners say we need to avoid or reduce flying because greenhouse gases, produced when fuel is burned, are “the root cause” of global warming. Scientists have warned that such warming could have a catastrophic effect on the planet.
Aviation actually only contributes about 3.5% of the world’s global carbon emissions, according to Carbon Brief,
but only a very small percentage of the world flies frequently, meaning those who do are disproportionately responsible for these emissions.
Domestic flights are the least energy-efficient way to travel, as shown by the graphic below. France has moved to ban all short-haul domestic flights.

Cristiano Ronaldo has told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he should not have benched him in Manchester United’s draw against Everton, according to reports.
The Red Devils manager left the Portugal captain on the bench – sparking plenty debate on whether or not it was the correct decision.
Solskjaer’s choice drew criticism from former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who said: “you should always play your best players”.

It looked like the Norwegian would be without both of his first-choice centre-backs this afternoon, but Harry Maguire has surprisingly been passed fit to face his former club.
United go into the game fourth in the table, four points off new leaders Liverpool, but Solskjaer knows he is expected to build a title challenge following the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Leicester have made a slow start to the season under Brendan Rodgers, who this week distanced himself from links to the Newcastle job, but this could be a cracker.
