How to find the color bottles for Ghoulish Green

Shanty Town is one of many Fortnite locations where you can find color bottles to customize your Paint-a-Toona skin.

At Shanty Town, you’ll find the Ghoulish Green color bottles for the Ghoul Trooper color scheme, which will give your Toona Fish a spooky green zombie tone.

Where is Shanty Town? You’ll recognize it as the town made of rickety wood and shacks west of Sludgey Swamp. It’s been around since the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, so you’ve probably visited before.

Once you get there, you’re looking for three green color bottles spread around the area.

Ghoulish Green color bottle 1: In the air above the pipe structure that looks like a trident…or maybe a menorah.
Ghoulish Green color bottle 2: Under the raised shack on the south side of town. It’s not hidden so it should be easy to spot from any location.
Ghoulish Green color bottle 3: Just like the last one, but under the raised shack on the north side of Shanty Town.

Once you’ve collected all the color bottles, you can go back to the Paint-a-Toona Fish page on the battle pass menu and unlock the Ghoulish Green Ghoul Trooper colors. Keep in mind that you’ll need enough rainbow ink to fully unlock the color scheme.

Fortnite Chapter Two, season eight is upon us and there are a few points of interest that some players might not typically head to since they’re not worth your time.

But with the addition of new color bottles all across the map, there are some locations you might want to circle back to, including Shanty Town.

This POI is where you can find bottles of “Ghoulish Green.”

If you’re unfamiliar with Shanty Town, don’t feel too bad. It doesn’t actually have a listed name on the map. The location was added to the game in Chapter Two, season one and has played a limited role in the game.

Shanty Town Fortnite Big Chuggus

Perhaps the biggest reason to know about Shanty Town is because in Chapter Two, season six, it became the only spawn location for the Slurp Series character Big Chuggus.

To find Shanty Town now, you’ll want to head to the southwest corner of the map until you get close to Sludgy Swamp. West of that, there are a few shacks—one might even call them shanties.

Once you start to see the shacks, you know you’re at Shanty Town.

Where is Shanty Town in Fortnite Season 8?

Shanty Town is an unmarked location on the Fortnite Season 8 map, so you might have trouble finding it, especially if you’re looking to collect the Ghoulish Green Color Bottles.

Despite the Mothership crashing into the Island at the beginning of Fortnite Season 8, the new Cubed update only gave the map a small overhaul, so all of the POIs from Season 7 are still around. Yes, even the ones that got abducted.

While this means most players will already be familiar with the map, there are loads of unmarked locations that you might not have even visited yet. One of these is the derelict Shanty Town, which resides at the very edges of the map.

Players will need to visit Shanty Town in order to collect three Ghoulish Green Color Bottles, which are used to unlock the Ghoul Trooper style for the customizable Toona Fish skin. We’ll go over where to find them all below.

Where is Shanty Town in Fortnite Season 8?

Shanty Town can be found directly west of Sludgy Swamp, at the southwesternmost point of the Fortnite Season 8 map. You’ll know you’re at the right place as there are several derelict buildings here.

This unmarked location was added to the Fortnite map at the start of Chapter 2 Season 1, but it hasn’t really been used for anything until now. Chances are, you’ve only been there once or twice – or never at all.

There are three Ghoulish Green Color Bottles to find at Shanty Town, and because it’s a small location it shouldn’t be too difficult to scoop them all up. You can see them marked on the Fortnite map above.

Shanty Town (POI)

Shanty Town is a Landmark in Battle Royale added in Chapter 2 Season 1, located inside the coordinate B6, west of Slurpy Swamp, southwest of The Durrr Burger, and southeast of Rainbow Rentals. It is a tiny town submerged in water with giant lily pads, there is a mysterious statue made of metal pipes in the centre, it appears that the people of the town pay great respect to this statue.

Shanty town

A shanty town or squatter area is a settlement of improvised buildings known as shanties or shacks, typically made of materials such as mud and wood.

A typical shanty town is squatted and in the beginning lacks adequate infrastructure, including proper sanitation, safe water supply, electricity and street drainage. Over time, shanty towns can develop their infrastructure and even change into middle class neighbourhoods.

They can be small informal settlements or they can house millions of people.

In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8, players will want to explore all areas of the map as there are new collectible Color Bottles that can be scooped up at various locations, including Shanty Town.

At Shanty Town, you’ll find three Color Bottles of Ghoulish Green so it’s well worth paying this location a visit. For those unfamiliar with Shanty Town, the first thing you should know is that this isn’t a named location you can find on the map.

Instead, it’s an unmarked area west of Sludgy Swamp (formerly Slurpy Swamp). In the map image above, we’ve marked exactly where you can find Shanty Town.

Another batch of Overtime challenges is now live in Fortnite. One of the new missions asks you to apply shield or healing items in Shanty Town or The Orchard. If you’re not sure where either of those areas are, don’t worry; this guide will show you where to go and how to complete the challenge.

Where Are Shanty Town And The Orchard?

The trickiest part of this challenge is actually finding the areas you need to visit, as neither is explicitly displayed on the game’s map. Fortunately, they’re fairly prominent and shouldn’t be too difficult to track down. The Orchard is located in the northern edge of Frenzy Farm, in grid square F3. Shanty Town, meanwhile, is just north of The Rig, in B6. We’ve marked the exact locations of both areas on the map below.

How To Complete The Challenge

Once you know where Shanty Town and The Orchard are, all you need to do is head to either and use healing or shield items. Fortunately, you can find those scattered around each area; there will be plenty of apples around The Orchard, while Shanty Town is home to shield-regenerating Slurp Barrels. You’ll need to replenish 500 shield or health to gain the maximum amount of XP from this challenge.

This isn’t the only new Overtime mission that may give you some trouble this week. Another one asks you to destroy teddy bears at Holly Hedges. Delivering a love potion is part of Fortnite‘s week 11 challenges for Chapter Two, season five and you only need to choose one of the two named locations.

Slurpy Swamp can be found directly in the southwest portion of the map. If you want to head to a more secluded position, go further west past the swamp until you reach a little cluster of buildings near the edge of the island to reach Shanty Town.
