Brad Pitt’s Son Pax Released from ICU. Pax is on the mend

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Son Pax Out Of ICU After Head Trauma In Bike Accident

Brad Pitt’s son Pax’s mouth was ‘filled with blood’ after e-bike crash

Days after the 20-year-old was hospitalized following an e-bike accident in Los Angeles, he has been released from the ICU, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” the source says.

The source adds that Pax and his mother — who was by his side as he recovered in the hospital — “are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.”

Jolie, 49, continues to be with her son, the source notes, as do his siblings, who “have been visiting and helping,” the insider says. “They are all very close.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, is one lucky guy after police say he smashed his electric bicycle into a car on a busy L.A. street … TMZ has learned.

The 20-year-old was riding Monday on Los Feliz Blvd. around 5 PM — so, rush hour on a heavily trafficked street — and as he approached a red light, he rammed into the back of a car stopped at the intersection … according to law enforcement sources.

We’re told the driver of the car got out to check on Pax, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Police and paramedics arrived on the scene, and witnesses tell us Pax was experiencing hip pain, and had apparently suffered a head injury … so, he was rushed to an L.A. hospital for treatment.

We’re told medics feared he suffered a minor brain bleed in the wreck, but the latest word is that Pax is stable, and might be able to go home sometime tonight.

Pax Jolie-Pitt’s mouth was “filled with blood” after he got into a terrifying e-bike crash last week, an eyewitness claims.

Lola Cavalli: “I didn’t see any broken bones, I did not see, like, profound bleeding, so to speak, and since I was directed to apply pressure at the site where it was bleeding, I did not see where I could apply the pressure, because it was on the head,” she explained.

Cavalli noted that it wasn’t “a lot of blood … like a fountain of blood rushing out” but revealed the college student’s “mouth was filled with blood.”

“When he was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth,” she told the outlet.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and transported Pax, who is one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s six kids, to the hospital where he sought treatment in the intensive care unit.
