Common Declares He Would Marry Jennifer Hudson
The rapper made an eyebrow-raising declaration about his famous girlfriend, Jennifer Hudson, during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club.
The two Oscar winners confirmed their relationship in January after months of speculation and now, he’s answered another big question about his future with the multi-talented talk show host.
After being asked about tapping into his native Chicago energy for his new album, The Auditorium, Vol. 1, the star explained that he recharged himself by getting to spend time back home.
Co-host Charlamagne tha God pointed out that it sounded like the performer might get married and was “building a real foundation.”
“With all due respect to all the women I’ve dated… it’s all love, but this is a really healthy and beautiful relationship,” he said, seemingly referencing Hudson without naming her.

“I am in a great partnership, and, man, [Jennifer] is somebody I do really care about and do love and am growing with,” he said.
He further elaborated on the theme of the song, adding, “The potential of a ‘champion lover’ means, ‘Yo, you are the one.’ I am feeling that. It’s a lot of potential there is what I’ll say.”
Commifer (or J-Comm? An attempt was made!) all but explicitly confirmed their relationship during Common’s appearance on the singer’s talk show, “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” earlier this year. During the interview, Hudson and Common coyly discussed their dating lives without naming who they were involved with.
