Today, it was revealed that Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has signed up to the upcoming series of the BBC show, which kicks off in the autumn.
The news was confirmed today in a huge announcement live on KISS FM.
The model and TV personality will take to the floor when Strictly returns in autumn 2024
Wicks was announced as part of the Strictly line-up just minutes after Love Island star Tasha Ghouri had her spot confirmed.
The multi-award-winning entertainment show, produced by BBC Studios, will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for its new series this Autumn. As Strictly celebrates two spectacular decades of dance, this series promises to be extra special with even more glitz, glamour and unforgettable performances.

Following Tasha’s reveal, it was announced that reality TV star Pete Wicks was also joining the line-up, making the TOWIE alum the seventh celebrity to be confirmed.
Who is Tasha Ghouri?
Tasha Ghouri is a model and public figure who rose to fame following her appearance on Love Island in 2022.
Tasha entered the villa as an OG Islander and quickly coupled up with fellow cast member Andrew Le Page, and while they had their ups and downs, the pair made it to the final and are in a relationship to this day.
Since appearing on the show, Tasha has raised awareness for the deaf community and launched her podcast Superpowers with Tasha, in which she celebrates “empowering people and their superpowers”.
